"SILHOUETTE LIFT”  THE ALTERNATIVE TO A SURGICAL LIFT
UNPRECEDENTED INNOVATION IN THE FIELD OF AESTHETIC MEDICINE.

PRESENTATION
Created by one of the of the greatest plastic surgeons worldwide, the “Silhouette” lift consists of a small operation, developed in the United States, representing a real technical revolution versus the old notched threads. Now, very thin threads are used to lift sagging face skin thanks to small resorbable cones, allowing them to hang on to deep tissues and perform a very important pull up of loose skin. This technique is recommended to middle-aged patients wishing to correct the nasogénien furrow, bitterness folds and other areas of the mouth, as well as the oval of face and chops.

TECHNIQUE
The technique is very simple. It consists of a local anesthesia and a 2 cm incision on each side of the face, above the ears, which are invisible after the operation.

Through this incision, threads are inserted (generally 4 on each side) in the temple area with a long needle, then they are pulled up as they attach onto soft tissues that need to be lifted up. Once the tissues are pulled up to the desired height, stitches are fastened onto deep temporal tissues.

RESULTS
No bandage, occasionally small bruises; therefore the patients can go back to their activities the following day. It’s a very simple operation, with a tiny scar (2 cm hidden in the hair), giving a tremendous rejuvenation of the middle third oval of the face.
