THE FACE AND NECK “SILHOUETTE LIFT”

PRESENTATION
The “Silhouette Lift” consists of a small operation, developed in the United States, which is a real technical revolution versus the old notched threads. This state-of-the-art method allows women to regain that freshness of the face and smile without a general anesthesia, hospitalization or long recovery period. Furthermore, “Silhouette Lift” goes beyond what’s been done before in this field, by extending the mechanism down to the neck area.

Ideal to correct nasal labial folds, expression lines, the oval of the face, lower cheeks, chin and neck, the “Silhouette Lift” gives spectacular results that last several years, in just one 45 minute session, using body biocompatible products, thus allowing a much better suspension mechanism than ever seen before.

TECHNIQUE
The technique is very simple and consists of 4 stages: Insertion, Deployment, Anchoring + Suspension, Fixation. Under a local anesthesia, a micro incision is done on each side of the face, above the ears. Through these incisions, Polypropylene threads are inserted in the temple area with a long needle and each thread holds a series of resorbable cones (generally 4 on each side), then they are pulled up as they attach onto soft tissues that need to be lifted up, allowing them to develop within, which strengthen the anchoring mechanism. Once the tissues are pulled up to the desired height, stitches are fastened onto deep temporal tissues.

Two additional incisions are done on each side of the nape of the neck, where threads (2 on each side) are inserted to pull up sagging tissues and loose skin. The stages for the neck area are identical to those of the face.

RESULTS
A tremendous rejuvenation of the face and neck!

No bandage, occasionally small bruises. Scars are invisible as they’re hidden under the hair. Recovery is immediate and allows patients to get back to their activities within 2 days. A flexible and natural aspect is highly noticeable just one week later, giving a bright, fresh and youthful look.
